Cabbage Soup Diet
The Cabbage soup diet is a very popular low carb High fiber diet, that outlines a week weight loss program which if followed correctly gives you the ability to lose up to 12 pounds in a week.
Recipe:
6 green onions
2 green peppers
3 carrots
2 cans of tomato juice
container of mushrooms
bunch of celery
half a head of cabbage
package of soup mix
1 or 2 cubes of bouillon
1 48oz can of V8
Cabbage soup cooking DIrections:
Spray cooking pan, and sautee with sliced green onions for about 5 minutes.
Take seeds out of pepper and cut into small pieces and add to pot.
Take the outer layer of leaves off the cabbage, cut the leaves into smaller pieces and add to the pot.
Clean and dice up the mushrooms celery and carrots and put them into pot.
Add tomatoes, and any seasoning at this stage.
Use either 12 cups of water or eight cups and v8 juice.
SImmer for 2 hours.
DIET OUTLINE:
Day 1: Eat only fruit and drink cranberry juice and water
Day 2: Eat only vegetables this day ending with a big fat potatoe with Butter.
Day 3: Mixture of Day 1 and 2 with no potatoe :(
Day 4: All the Bananas and Skim milk your heart desires-- that is it
Day 5: Beef and Tomatoes, Finally some meat
Day 6: Beef and All vegetables
Day 7:Brown rice, unsweetened fruitjuices
The trick to this diet is stuffing your self with the food you are allowed on any given day. Be sure to eat a bowl of cabbage soup each day as well as staying completely hydrated.
